The session began somewhat aimlessly, with the party going out to buy Adderall from Sally Mae before settling on solving the question of Poog’s still living father raised in Session 99. Using the Person Locator person purchased in session 123, Poog managed to find his dad. A motorcycle riding short order cook named Shirt. Shirt and his family came to live in Trumpquatia with Poog.
After their first goal was completed with surprising swiftness, the party decided to look into the soldiers in Pink & Purple camo who attacked Losco’s forces back in Session 107. Asking around the party was able to discover that they were a fairly large and organized band of Mongoose Mercenaries, with an established location.
The party contacted them under false pretenses, and discovered that they had a secret room in the sewers where they could meet with clients and maintain the client’s complete anonymity. Rather than go to meet there, though, the party decided to show up on the doorstep of their compound.
There was a bit of a scuffle as the party couldn’t quite decide whether they wanted to kill these guys or talk to them. At one point Losco stabbed a guy, then offered him a job as a chef. It was chaotic, but diplomacy won out in the end.
In some very tense negotiations, Jeb managed to convince these guys that their way of life wasn’t sustainable, and offered them a permanent contract if they would be willing to give up the mercenary life. The party would budget 25,000cc per month to hire this group as a trained and regulated police force. Not of any particular territory, but of the whole dome.
They weren’t quite sure how that’d work, but the party put a lot of money on the table. Much more than this slightly-more-successful-than-average band of mercenaries was used to. They agreed to sign on with the party, who for now just wanted to start them on training.
