The party took a haven turn, during which a lot happened:
-Guldornu, a demon the party had previously encountered, was discovered in his Palace of Blood in the sewers, where he is claiming a small territory for himself.
-An explosion tore apart the top floor of Ronnina’s tower, and Ronnina herself went missing.
-The party pursued various training regimens.
The party decided to make use of the secret knowledge they gained about various Lords of Light in session 118. They set out for the newly conquered territory that once belonged to the Rulers Beneath the Black. On the way they heard numerous stories about what was going on in that territoriy, many of which beggared belief. Jeb dutifully made notes about people’s loved ones so he could pass along news.
The party arrived at the wall separating the former RBTB territory occupied by the Outsiders from the former RBTB territory occupied by the Lords of Light. At the wall they were told approval for entry would have to come from someone higher up the chain of command, so they spent a few hours talking and playing cards with wall guards while they waited. The guards seemed satisfied enough with their lot, normal people who belied the strange stories the party had heard about the place.
The party got permission to enter the next day. They spent the evening doing some work to patch into the radio transmissions the Lords of Light used to communicate, which allowed them to eavesdrop on a great deal of private chatter.
The next day they met with Taka, the Lord most responsible for interterritorial commerce. She offered them a fine meal of good food grown right in the freshly conquered area. The party presented themselves as merchants looking for investment opportunities, and she invited them to go on a supervised tour of Lords of Light territory, which they agreed to.
