The Private Gallery of Grand Dukebaron Bluhelm

Highlights Recap

The party explored through all the various galleries of the collection. First they visited the office, where they collected the museum’s documentation (which did not include pricing. The Dukebaron kept financials away from the common workers).

In a room for mirrors which used holograms to alter the appearance of a reflected person, the party met an autonomous piece of artwork. A clockwork automata of wood and brass, which none the less seemed to have a functioning mind despite its apparently primitive construction. This creature was something of a combination exhibit and tour guide. They had spent the last few decades wandering the gallery and appreciating the art carefully. They were initially concerned about the Party’s intrusion into the gallery, but were convinced when the party claimed that they were licensed to be here because the art needed to be protected from some imminent destruction. (A comet, maybe?)

The group proceed into the Miniatures gallery, where they were attacked by some security robots disguised as space ships. RayRayRayRayRay was severely injured and lost his jacket and his potatoes, but the party was eventually victorious. They took some Warhammer 40k figures.

From there they investigated the gallery of ArtMurders, the furniture gallery, and finally discovered the Bluesidian ship. However, before taking it, they wanted to check through the rest of the galleries, and so explored the Photographs of Holes, the Tattoos, the Vines, the Bland Landscape Paintings, the miscellaneous paintings, the Campbellian Cartography Collection, and finally the collection of magical effects frozen mid-casting. In this last room, Gown spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out how the effects could be harvested, but to no avail.

With a path out of the wing now plotted, the party examined the Blusidian Ship room for traps, discovering some hidden vents that would presumably flood the room with poison gas. By stuffing the vents full of duct tape and tattooed skin, the party circumvented this danger. Then they snatched the ship.

Immediately some robots who were not concerned at all with hitting the art were activated, and moved to attack, but the party was able to flee out of the gallery, and close the door behind them.
