Highlights Recap
After escaping from the scene they caused in Taukum’s brothels, the party decided to see if they could embellish their deception by heading up to harass Faenrik the Slayer.
On the way, they bumped into Walter, a.k.a. “Princess Turgid Wang,” whom the party rescued from slavery a few years prior, but who they treated very poorly. Umquat, feeling bad about her past behavior, did her best to make amends, giving the poor guy some cash, and inviting him to visit Trumpquatia if he ever needed anything.
Moving on, they reached Faenrik’s compound in the Northern part of Mongoose territory. Unlike Taukum’s area, it had no public section. Just an unmarked building surrounded by barbed wire and guards. The party thought they might enter through the sewers.
In the sewers, the party found a section of calcified shit where a Devil stood over a dead wizard who had constructed a poor summoning circle. The devil introduced itself as the inventor of the N Gage, and offered the party a deal: 1 soul for 1 wish, or 10 unwilling souls for 1 wish, and announced he was going to establish a Palace of Blood somewhere on Mars.
Rita sold her soul for a sandwich, but didn’t eat it. She’ll lose her soul once she does. Simpsons did it.
When Umquat stepped on the first rung of the ladder leading back up into the compound, it depressed, activating a recording that warned her that if she stepped off this rung, she’d set off explosives. The party managed to convince Faenrik that they weren’t trying to get into their compound, but were just looking for a way up to the surface. Faenrik disabled the explosives and allowed them to leave.
The party decided not to pursue fucking with Faenrik, since they’d seen the party’s faces at this point. They decided to head home, but first, Umquat realized that they were pretty close by where she used to do some underground llama racing, and led the party off to check out her old haunts.
Umquat met up with some old pals, who were about to do an exhibition race. Umquat put money down on Suzie Knifehands riding Buff Jim, who won. Ashernar entered the race privately, riding a llama named Ahsens, but lost.
